We hope that these profiles help you get to know us a little bit better! We asked our staff a few questions about why they do what they do, and realized all over again what a great group of Educators we have here. We all are very passionate about what we do and are looking forward to getting to know each of our families better throughout the years they are here!
Directors
Cara Steiner – Executive Director
Cara originally wanted to work in Early Learning because she has always loved being around children. She believes that they teach us things every day about what it means to go through life and feel enjoyment each day. They are also genuinely very funny and help her remember to laugh as much as possible. As she has spent more time in this field and in her role as our Director, she has grown to be an advocate for this profession and wants to teach others about what we do, why we do it, and why it is so important! Cara considers it a privilege to be the leader of our talented team of Educators and caring families.
Her favorite thing about Prairie Lily is that this Centre feels like family. She enjoys our families, children and Educators so much, and seeing the long lasting relationships that have developed in our buildings is a very rewarding part of the job. This is a group of people who care for and support each other, while sharing a common purpose and vision for our Centre. There have been ups and downs, like in any family, but they are always dealt with in a way that has allowed her to change and grow as a person and as an Early Childhood Educator.
Cara hopes that the children who have been here at the same time as her grow up knowing that they were LOVED. She wants each child to know that she celebrated their unique personalities and abilities and hopes that they stay that way as long as they possibly can. She hopes that they grow up to be caring human beings, who consider the people around them, while being secure and confident in who they are. She hopes that each child finds their own success in life and remember that they can always come back to Prairie Lily for a visit at anytime!

Tiarra Eason
Tiarra has been a wonderful addition to our team. Growing up, she always helped care for children as her mom had a daycare at home and comes to Prairie Lily with years of experience. Tiarra also comes to us with many years experience and education working as a Continuing Care Assistant, so she really brings a comprehensive and unique perspective to working with children with diverse abilities.
She loves working with children and helping them meet all the milestones that come with healthy wellbeing and development. She pursued an education in Early Childhood Education so that she could be even better equipped to work in a quality Child Care setting as she starts her career of working with children.
So far, she has been enjoying getting to know our children and staff at Prairie Lily and has felt welcomed by so many friendly faces! She hopes that any children who cross her path remember her kindness when interacting with them.

Amrita Pandey
Amrita wanted to work in Early Childhood Education because she it always been her dream and passion to become an Educator. She has been with our Centre for almost 8 years and is a wonderful addition to our team. She is kind and loving to all the people that come into her space and makes everyone feel at home. She is a master at braids and many of our children love to get her to do their hair. Amrita shares her sweet spirit and life with us and we are better for it.
Her favorite part of Prairie Lily is the children. She gets to work with them in a fun and creative setting where each day is different and exciting. She loves to laugh, sing, play and dance with them all day long.
As an Educator, she plays an important role of shaping the lives of young children and preparing them to become productive citizens in our community. She hopes that they remember that she taught them kindness, love, how to share and care for others, and patience. These are the keys to make themselves and others happy.

Before and After School Educators
Karsyn Wolfe - Supervisor, Ruth M Buck
Karsyn wanted to work in Early Learning and enjoys being with children of all ages. She is working towards her Kinesiology and Education degree at the University of Regina, and will be an excellent Educator someday! She loves teaching and educating young minds in more formal settings, and has previously worked for many years teaching swimming lessons as well.
Her favorite thing about Prairie Lily is how all of our Educators work so well together. Everyone here is loving and caring towards each other and towards the children. Karsyn is an amazing leader and has also been a wonderful role model for many of our Educators who have worked with her and learned from her in our School Age program.
She hopes that the children remember the fun games she played with them and the activities she planned for them. She wants them to remember that how caring she was for them and that she worked hard each day to make them feel happy and know that they were loved.

Emily Hanson
Emily is brand new to Prairie Lily but comes to us with 3 years of experience leading all sorts of programs, including a leadership program for youth. She has a love of children and wants to see them succeed in all areas of their lives. She hopes to bring smiles to the faces of all of the children here at the Centre while helping them create amazing memories that they can carry with them throughout their lives.
The best thing about Prairie Lily for Emily so far is feeling so welcome in our community of Educators and children, along with being able to hang out and spend time with the children as she gets to know them better!
Emily hopes that the children she teaches remember that she is also there to be a friend, is there for them, and can help them with whatever is going on in their lives!

Part-Time Educators & Support Staff
Cassidy Boczulak
Cassidy has been working in Child Care for the past 5 years, and has been with Prairie Lily for just over a year now! She brings a lot of patience and fun to our team, our Toddlers all love to be with her, and she can usually be found with a few children on her lap and climbing all over her for play or a hug. Cassidy wanted to work in Child Care as she loves spending time with children and assisting them with whatever they need. She wants to make a positive impact on the children and to help them grow and develop.
The things that Cassidy likes most about Prairie Lily are the children and their families! We know the feeling is mutual, as often Cassidy is the first Educator that the Toddlers bond closely with when they start, and she has helped so many transitions into our Centre be happy and go smoothly.
Cassidy hopes that the children remember the love and care that she has for them and the support she gave them. She wants to be someone that they can look up to, trust, and be comfortable and safe around.
